Saturday fee:

12 hours rental of entire building up to midnight is $825 plus a $500 cleaning/security deposit, which is refundable if the terms of the contract are met.
$600 for non-profits showing a proof of 501(c)(3) status plus a $500 cleaning/security deposit.

If additional time is needed on the date of the rental, a rate of $81.25 an hour will be charged. Rental includes use of the kitchen and barbecue.

Table and chair set up for 100 people is included. Each additional 100 people is $37.50. If the SBCC sets up for an additional 100 you the client must put them away at the end of your party or you will have a deduction from your deposit.
Note: Renters can save extra fees by doing the setup and tear down of additional tables and chairs themselves. The center must be cleaned according to the rules and regulations for the renter's deposit of $500.00 to be returned. No exceptions allowed.
Note: If you or your guests use the Park lawn you need to contact the COunty Parks at 781-5930 to secure a written agreement for you and us. If you use the park and leave trash there you could lose part or all of your deposit.

Note: Holidays are rented for 12 hours at a flat rate of $1,250, which includes the entire building.

Deposits and Insurance Information

What you need to do to rent the center:

1. Submit your application with a deposit of half the rental fee and a copy of your driver’s license or other identification. Balance is due at least 2 weeks prior to your event. In the event a check is not received by that time, the rental balance and any other fees must be paid in cash prior to the event in order for the event to proceed as planned. It is the renter’s responsibility to make sure the fees are paid on time.
   
2. A cleaning/security deposit check of $500 is due 2 weeks prior to your event. If you honor the written terms of your agreement with the community center, this fee will be refunded the week after your event. If not, the fee will be retained. A copy of the Renters Rules and Responsibilities will be sent to you along with your contract. They are also posted on the refrigerator in the kitchen.
   
3. You will need to provide liability insurance for the day of the event. It can be secured through your homeowner’s policy, or at www.wedsafe.com. The certificate must be delivered to the office prior to your event.
   
4. Rentals include set up for 100 people. Additional set up by our staff is $37.50 for each additional 100 people. You can save the set up fee by doing the additional set up and tear down yourself. (You can leave the original 100 in place.)
   
5. If you are selling alcohol, you will need a permit. It can be obtained from the State of California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, (805) 543-7183. You are required by law to follow all the rules, regulations and laws established and set forth by the Sate of California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
   
6. Written cancellation must be received 30 days prior to your event, or you deposit shall be forfeit.
